Port of Trelleborg has been notified that the Swedish government has endorsed a new grant application under the EU Blending Call. Port of Trelleborg will apply for funding from the EU’s Connecting Europe Facility (the Trans-European Transport Network). This time Port of Trelleborg is applying for a grant to the whole of the continued expansion of the port, which will be completed in 2023.
In the application, the Port of Trelleborg has, among others things, investment costs for the construction of three new berths, a new quay, check- in and a connecting route from the east as well as land filling and completion of marshalling yards.
The Port of Trelleborg has begun the relocation of the port and the activities in the application will complete the relocation of the port.
