Welcome to Port of Trelleborg M/S Epsilon

Today we were finally able to welcome M/S Epsilon to Port of Trelleborg for the first time!

The captain of the vessel, Arkadiusz Ślaski, received a plaque and flowers from Port of Trelleborg’s nautical advisor Jim Leveau.

The vessel is 186,4 m long, has a capacity of 3,000 lane meters and accommodates 261 passengers on board. M/S Epsilon will be Unity Line’s largest vessel between Trelleborg and Swinoujscie. Epsilon will have seven arrivals and departures each week!

Since 2007, the Polish shipping company Unity Line has operated the route between Trelleborg and Swinoujscie in Poland and the traffic has had a positive steady increase since its inception. At present, Unity Line has four vessels operating on the Trelleborg—Swinoujscie route.

EuroAfrica is the owner of M/S Epsilon but the vessel is operated by Unity Line.

Last week, Port of Trelleborg participated in EuroAfrica’s inauguration in Szczecin in Poland to celebrate the launch of M/S Epsilon. Jacek Wiśniewski, CEO, Hass Holding and EuroAfrica, spoke at the launch party, and also Arkadiusz Marchewka, Secretary of State and Deputy Minister of Infrastructure with responsibility for the maritime economy in Poland, attended and spoke about Epsilon as a symbol of success and a good partnership between a private and a state-owned company, with a common goal.

The Port of Trelleborg wishes Unity Line and EuroAfrica the best of luck with Epsilon!
