“The bridge to the Continent” – about 34 arrivals and departures every 24 hours
Port of Trelleborg, which is Scandinavia’s largest RoRo port, has about 34 arrivals and departures every day. The three shipping companies that currently operate the port are TT-Line, Stena Line and Unity Line. Together they have 15 RoPax ferries serving Trelleborg to Travemünde, Rostock, Swinoujscie and Klaipeda.
The port has a total of 8 berths, including two with a rail connection, and also a quay for handling other types of cargo such as grain and oil. Measured in terms of cargo volume, the port is ranked as the second largest in Sweden and handles annually over 13 million tonnes of cargo. Each year, more than a million units, trucks, trailers and passenger cars pass through Port of Trelleborg.
