
Welcome Jantar Unity! Early this morning, Jantar Unity arrived to make a test call at the Port of Trelleborg.
Jantar Unity will operate on the Trelleborg-Swinoujscie route. The vessel is 195.6 m long, 32.2 m wide and can accommodate 4,100 cargo meters for goods and has a capacity for 400 passengers and a crew of approximately 50 people.
Jantar Unity is built in Poland and is equipped with an advanced and environmentally friendly propulsion system with four LNG engines that are supplemented by batteries in a hybrid system, which greatly reduces CO₂ emissions.
Polsca stands for “Poland Scandinavia” and is a newly established and jointly owned company by Unity Line, Polferries and EuroAfrica Shipping Lines. Jantar Unity is operated by Unity Line and it is also via Unity Line that bookings are made until the company Polsca is fully established.
On Saturday, January 17, the vessel will be christened (named) in Szczecin. The maiden voyage will be on Wednesday, January 21, from the Port of Trelleborg.
