Port of Trelleborg has partnered with Trelleborg Municipality’s Formation management. Recently, some 20 student counselors and teachers came on a study visit in the Future annex at Östergatan 58B and looked at the port’s exhibition and then ended with a guided tour of the port.
Besides items of interest from the port, the room on the second floor of the exibition holds two information boxes that can easily be administered by the touch method. Visitors can take part of the port’s long and amazing journey from the Viking period until today. Of course you can also read about the port’s future plans and visions. The expo turns to the general public but in particular to high school students in Trelleborg. An interactive training material has been developed that can be used in conjunction with visiting the exhibition. The material can be loaded via QR code and there is training material to download from www.framtidsannexet.se.
The focus of the information is the port at large, the environment, the future plans, the port’s vision and the port’s importance not only local for Trelleborg, but for the region and Sweden as the gateway to Europe. The texts in the info boxes are also available in English.
Port of Trelleborg hope that the cooperation with the Formation management can contribute to more classes will book visits to the Future annex to see the port’s exhibition and maybe also book a bus tour of the port to get closer to the business. Book your visit at www.framtidsannexet.se
