Cinnamon Bun Day is actually not until Sunday, October 4 – but at the Port of Trelleborg, we decided to start the celebration a little early on Friday.
We took the opportunity to surprise passengers and truck drivers passing through the Port of Trelleborg with coffee, cinnamon buns and our popular sunglasses.
Fridays are busy days at the port, with many people passing through to catch the ferry and continue their journey into Europe. Trucks and trailers carrying goods to the continent share the port with cars, motorhomes and caravans filled with travellers heading off on their next adventure.
For us, celebrating Cinnamon Bun Day has become a much-appreciated tradition and a great opportunity to meet some of the many people who pass through the port every day.
We hope a little Swedish Friday fika made the wait for the ferry even more enjoyable!
