Extension of TT-Line’s M / V Peter Pan

TT-Line’s ferry M / V Peter Pan is currently in a shipyard in Bremerhaven in Germany to be extended by 30 meters. The extension means a capacity increase of about 25 percent to about 3,000 lane meters. Peter Pan will also be rebuilt with a new power-optimized and fuel efficient bulbous. The new bulbous and the increased cargo capacity means that CO2 emissions per transported cargo unit is reduced by up to 25 percent.

One of the reasons why Port of Trelleborg is expanding the port is in order to accommodate longer vessels. Port of Trelleborg therefore looks forward to Peter Pan’s return as a 220 meter ship when she is expected to return to the end of February 2018.

M / V Patria Seaways arrived at Port of Trelleborg on Sunday, January 14, 2018, and will replace M / V Peter Pan during this period.
