Customer satisfaction strengthens at Port of Trelleborg – scores 7.3 out of 10

The Port of Trelleborg’s latest customer survey shows a stable and positive development. This year’s result reaches 7.3 out of 10, with particularly strong ratings in environmental performance, safety, and the overall impression.

“The result confirms our strong position as one of Northern Europe’s most important transport hubs. We are especially pleased that our customers highlight our flexibility and customer service,” says Malin Collin, CEO, Port of Trelleborg.

This year, the survey’s target group was expanded. In addition to the ferry operators TT-Line, Stena Line and Polsca (Unity Line), it also included freight forwarders, haulage companies, and rail operators. At the same time, the response rate increased, resulting in a more reliable and representative outcome.

What customers value most

Customers particularly highlight three key strengths of Port of Trelleborg:

  • Its strategic geographic location close to the European continent
  • Operational flexibility
  • High frequency of ferry departures

Several respondents also emphasize the positive and helpful attitude of employees as a key success factor:

“You catch more bees with honey than with vinegar.”

Accessibility is especially important for haulage companies and freight forwarders:

“Multiple connection possibilities”

“The possibility to pick up and drop off trailers at any time”

Areas for improvement identified

Despite the positive results, there are areas for development, primarily regarding long-term parking and secure parking in connection to the port area.

Work has already begun to develop concrete and feasible measures, with the aim of further improving the customer experience.
