We warmly welcome our new Business Development Manager Erik Eskling Hansen to Port of Trelleborg!
Erik will replace Torgny Nilsson who will be leaving the company later this fall.
Erik has solid and broad experience from several operations within our industry and has worked for several shipping companies in roles as business developer, freight forwarder and agent – both nationally and internationally. In addition, he has experience from working in port operations and developing intermodal transport within rail. Erik most recently comes from Port of Ystad where he worked in a similar role.
The Port of Trelleborg is Scandinavia’s largest RoRo port with four destinations in Europe and is the shortest route to the continent. We have expanded the port’s capacity with new quays and ferry berths, including a new 500-meter-long quay for general cargo, where we offer attractive business opportunities for more types of calls, in addition to ferry traffic. The Port of Trelleborg is working purposefully with intermodal rail traffic and the port also has a Logistics Center with direct rail connection and great potential.
