Today it was time for a test call of TT-Line’s new Green Ship M / S Nils Holgersson in ferry berth 10. To the sun, blue sky, flags and balloons, the 230 m long vessel was welcomed by employees from TT-Line and Port of Trelleborg when she docked in ferry berth 10. Everything worked perfectly with both the berth and the ramps.
Port of Trelleborg’s CEO Jörgen Nilsson traditionally handed over a plaque from the port to the vessel’s captain Stephan Schipplick. It is extremely rare that a brand new vessel arrives at Port of Trelleborg. Therefore, we were very proud that TT-Line chose our port for Nils Holgersson’s first call in the Baltic Sea.
After just over two hours, she departed for Travemünde. Already next week, Nils Holgersson will be put into service. We wish our customer TT-Line all the best!
