Yesterday, Ehrenberg Sörensen Kommunikation organized the conference “Scania Day – a real life corridor from Bothnia to the continent”, together with the Port of Trelleborg, Port of Rostock, Kvarken Ports and Wasaline.
The program for the day was about how we can together strengthen this dynamic corridor and increase the flow of goods, from the Port of Rostock via the Port of Trelleborg and further up to Umeå in the north and Vaasa in Finland together with the shipping company Wasaline. In addition to efficient and sustainable shipping and good infrastructure, everyone involved agreed that cooperation and collaboration between the countries around the Baltic Sea are of the utmost importance for success. And the will, potential and faith in the future were definitely present in the speakers. Port of Trelleborg’s CEO Jörgen Nilsson quoted the city of Vaasa’s mayor Tomas Häyry: “When others say maybe – we say yes, when others stay – we go!”, which summed up the day.
In total, approx. 60 participants took part in the conference in our premises at the Waterfront in the Port of Trelleborg, and we say a big thank you to everyone who participated, contributed with wise input and networked!
