Port of Trelleborg continues its environmental journey. Today, sewage was on the agenda and a very rewarding collaborative work in combination with the Port of Trelleborg, our shipping customer TT-Line and fantastic researchers from Chalmers University of Technology!
Jane Tifuh and Mekhala Rathnamali from Chalmers’ maritime department visited the port’s Environmental Manager Jennie Folkunger and together they were on board TT-Line’s ferry M/S Huckleberry Finn to gain more knowledge about the vessel’s sewage.
We hope that the visit will contribute to increased knowledge and data in Jane’s and Mekhala’s research on vessels’ wastewater and their character and composition.
