On April 16, it was premiere for Unity Line’s ferry Galileusz to enter in ferry berth no. 5 which is now ready and inspected after the reconstruction. Since October 2018, ferry berth no. 5 has been rebuilt and adapted to be able to unload Unity Line’s ferry Wolin from two directions at the same time.
The stern ramp has been moved northwards so that it will accommodate Wolin which is 188.9 m long and also the quay side has been adapted for Wolin’s quarter ramp to enable side unloading.
Both Unity Line and Port of Trelleborg were satisfied that everything worked well and that all of Unity Line’s four ferries in Port of Trelleborg can enter ferry berth no. 5 now.
