Port of Trelleborg Academy has become a great success and now we have finally kicked off the third group!
Port of Trelleborg’s own academy runs for two years with 12 course participants and this will be the third group since its start in 2019. The goal of the investment is to give more employees skills development, with the hope that several of them will grow and want to take on more responsibility, after which suitable vacancies will arise, such as for example team leaders.
Our work of being Europe’s best RoRo port requires constant development and each training session focuses on a strategically important focus area for the port. Course leaders for the internal training are experts within the company as well as external lecturers. In addition, study visits to other ports are included.
These two days, the focus has been on the port’s business plan, infrastructure and what is included in the CEO role.
