On Monday September 12, Port of Trelleborg was visited by a group of six people from New Zealand. Two people from Port Marlborough, two people from the Centre Port Wellington and two people from Interislander, which is a rail ferry and ro-pax ferry operator which operates three ships between the North and South Islands.
They were curious of visiting our port mainly to see how it is developed to facilitate efficient ferry, road and rail operations since they will change to a fully intermodal rail to ferry to rail operation in a few years.
Besides the visit at the Port of Trelleborg, they will visit more ports in both Sweden and Europe during September.
