On Wednesday, February 19, Ulf Sonesson and Jessika Böös welcomed our EU contact persons from CINEA and the CEF Secretariat who came to inspect the investments in the Port of Trelleborg and especially the activities in our ongoing Green FIT project (the wind turbines, the wastewater treatment plant, ferry berths 11 and 12 and the backtracks at the intermodal terminal).
Cinea and CEF have been contributors and partners to Port of Trelleborg since 2008. The Port of Trelleborg would not be where we are today without the EU grants. Our guests were very impressed by the size of the port and the speed of all the expansion.
Mattias Hägg, Christian Dahl and Ie Urde from the Municipality of Trelleborg also participated in the visit and described the municipality’s ongoing Coastal City project.
