Ferry berth no. 13 has now received a new side ramp to be able to increase the capacity for the new LNG hybrids Green Ships from TT-Line. The side ramp in ferry berth no. 13 creates opportunities to move all TT-Line’s ferry traffic from the old port, which brings great logistical advantages and higher efficiency. Ferry berth 13 will also be used for LNG bunkering.
The side ramp is approximately 100 m long and has two lanes. It consists of four parts that weigh a total of 200 tons!
Skanska has carried out the work. The side ramp will be put into operation in October 2024 after a completed inspection.
The side ramp is one of the activities in our EU project “Digi-MoS” which is co-financed by the EU.
