Do you remember when the eastern part of the new port was basically one big sandbox?
Thanks to co-financing from the EU and our Rail-IT project, we have been able to accelerate the completion and paving of the final parts of the land reclamation – covering more than 100,000 square metres.
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our contact person from CINEA, who followed up on the investments, with a particular focus on the results of the now completed project.
Rail-IT is a collaborative project between Port of Trelleborg and our partner port Port of Rostock, with the aim of strengthening and developing the transport corridor between Trelleborg and Rostock.
In Trelleborg, we have completed the land filling with asphalt including IT infrastructure and lighting, while Rostock has focused on the development of railway infrastructure.
