This is not just any road but a new road into Sweden!
In Scandinavia’s largest RoRo port for rolling traffic, it is of great importance that the internal port logistics work smoothly and without bottlenecks. The port’s new railway crossing is now ready and inspected. To ensure the flow of traffic to the new part of the port, a new road has been built over the railway tracks. It is a two-lane road at level crossing for incoming traffic into Sweden. This will greatly facilitate the flow in and out of the port until an eastern port entrance is completed.
The road will be taken into use shortly.
The cost of the construction is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility of the European Union.
