Today we welcomed the cruise ship M / V Balmoral which entered Port of Trelleborg for the first time. Just over 1,000 passengers, mainly British passengers,
arrived at ferry berth no. 14 shortly before 9 am.
It is very gratifying for both the port and the city to once again be able to receive a cruise ship at our new ferry berth. The last time we had a cruise ship was in September 2021.
The passengers will be able to choose trips to Malmö/Lund, Trelleborgen (Viking fortress) and Smygehuk (Sweden’s most southern point). The Tourist Center,Visit Trelleborg, which is on site, will make sure to highlight Trelleborg’s sights and shopping in the center which can attract increased consumption.
We are sure that the guests will have a positive experience of Sweden’s southernmost city before returning at 3 pm today.
