In addition to interesting objects from the port, the room on the second floor holds two information boxes which are easily administered by the touch method. Visitors can take part of the port’s long and amazing journey from the Viking Age time until present day. Of course you can also read about the port’s future plans and visions.
The exhibition is aimed at the general public but in particular to secondary school students in Trelleborg. It has developed an interactive training material that can be used in conjunction with visiting the exhibition. The texts are also available in English in the info boxes.
The focus of the information is the port at large, the environment, the future plans, the port’s vision and the port’s importance not only for Trelleborg, but to the region and Sweden as the gateway to Europe.
The exhibition is made in collaboration with Municipality of Trelleborg.
